Pittsburg State’s Kadyn Trochim, Lexi Davis and Heather Arnett have been named to the NCAA Division II Central Region team by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.
Davis, a catcher, and Trochim, a third baseman, are on the first team, and shortstop Arnett made the second team.
Davis set a school record with 76 runs batted in so far this season, and she has a team-high 13 home runs while batting .399. She has 17 doubles among her 65 hits and has scored 49 runs.
Trochim is batting .451 with 74 hits, 74 RBI, 46 runs scored, 18 doubles and seven home runs.
Arnett leads D2 with a .539 batting average, 110 hits and 79 runs scored. She also has 15 doubles, seven triples, 39 runs batted in and 38 stolen bases. She holds MIAA career records for hits, runs and stolen bases.
