Pittsburg State senior softball players Heather Arnett, Lexi Davis and Kadyn Trochim are first-team selections on the all-Central Region team, selected by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association.
Arnett, a shortstop and Frontenac High School product, concluded her career with a .525 batting average this season, 114 hits, 15 doubles, seven triples, 39 runs batted in and 38 stolen bases.
She leads Division II in hits, is tied for the lead in runs and is second in batting average. At this time Arnett is third in D2 for season hits, fourth in career hits (374), sixth in career runs (254), tied for sixth in season runs and tied for 15th in career stolen bases (155).
Davis, a catcher from Harrisburg, Ark., hit .400 this season with a .766 slugging percentage and .488 on-base percentage.
She led the Gorillas with 14 home runs and a school-record 82 runs batted in, which ranks second in MIAA history and third this year in D2. She also had 70 hits, 18 doubles, 50 runs scored, 33 walks and threw out 11 runners attempting to steal.
Trochim, a third baseman from Waco, Texas, batted .446 with 78 hits, 18 doubles, eight home runs and 76 RBI. She scored 48 runs and drew 18 walks.
She is tied for fifth in D2 in RBI this season.
