Carol Ann Hill, 84, of Frontenac, Kansas died at 1:55 p.m. Monday, May 18, 2026, at Mercy Hospital at Pittsburg, Kansas.

Mrs. Hill was born April 8, 1942, in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of Mason and Eleanor Cain Kirby. Carol was a CNA who resided in the Frontenac-Arma area the past 40 years. She was a lifelong caregiver. She was raised in Cincinnati and attended school there. She married James Hill in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mr. Hill preceded her in death Aug. 29, 1969. Survivors include two daughters, Rhonda (Pat) Dickerson of Franklin, Kansas and Patty Sherman of Arma, two sons, Jim Hill of Cincinnati, Ohio and Carl Hill of Arma, two sisters, Gloria Tenley and Candy Kirby both of Cincinnati, Ohio, and numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Melvina Kirby, Lavern Kirby, and Joyce Kirby, and two brothers, Leroy (James) Kirby and Andy Kirby.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 21, 2026, at the Bedene Funeral Home in Arma, Kansas with Luke Snavley officiating. Burial will be at the Pittsburg Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the Bedene Chapel prior to the funeral services. Arrangements are under the direction of the Bedene Funeral Home, 517 E.
