The word on the street is that Names and Numbers may soon be discontinuing their printed telephone directories. Understandable, but a shame, as they’re historical and genealogical treasures. Also, to a word-a-holic, fun found at the top of the Yellow Pages where there are two-word headings like “Pizza Plumbing,” meaning the page starts off with listings for “Pizza” and ends with listings for “Plumbing.”
