Mulberry Homecoming set for Friday

The annual Mulberry Homecoming is scheduled for Friday, May 22, beginning at 5:30 p.m. The “Orange and Black Night” began decades ago in an effort to raise funds for Christmas lights. The event has grown and evolved through the years, however. Featured at this year’s homecoming celebration is a cake walk, parade, bounce houses, turtle races, car show, live band, food/craft vendors, and raffle drawings with prizes. The Mulberry Museum remains open during the homecoming, as well. AARON PYLE / THE MORNING SUN
