Three Pittsburg State softball players have earned All-America honors from two organizations.

Shortstop Heather Arnett and catcher Lexi Davis are first-team selections on the National Fastpitch Coaches Association team, and third baseman Kadyn Trochim made the second team.

Davis also was named the D2 Diamond Sports/NFCA Catcher of the Year.

On the Division II Conference Commissioners Association team, Davis was named first team and Arnett and Trochim were named second team.

Arnett is a three-time All-American on both teams, making it as an outfielder in 2024 and a shortstop the last two years.

Arnett, who prepped at Frontenac, hit .525 this season with 114 hits, 81 runs scored 38 stolen bases, 15 doubles, seven triples and 39 runs batted in. She leads Division II in hits and is second in batting average and runs scored.

In D2 history, she is tied for fourth in career hits (374), seventh in runs (254) and tied for 15th in stolen bases (155).

Davis, a senior from Harrisburg, Ark., batted .400 and led the Gorillas with 14 home runs and 82 runs batted in, which broke the school record, ranks second in MIAA history and is third in D2 this season.

She also had 18 doubles among her 70 hits, scored 50 runs, walked 33 times and threw out 11 baserunners attempting to steal.

Trochim, a graduate student from Waco, Texas, became a two-time All-American after batting .446 with 78 hits, 48 runs scored, 18 doubles, eight home runs and 76 RBI. She was hit by a pitch 11 times, drew 39 walks and hit nine sacrifice flies.

For her career, she made 218 starts (seventh in PSU history) and had 122 runs scored (12), 197 hits (tie 10), 40 doubles (tie 7), 25 home runs (tie 11), 163 RBI (6), 91 walks (2) and a .337 average (23).
