Sherrie Ann (Campbell) Ratterree, age 49, of Pittsburg, KS, passed from this life on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Freeman Hospital in Joplin.

Sherrie was born on June 4, 1976, in Miami, OK, to Wayne and Artie (Vandermade) Campbell. She grew up in Commerce, OK, and attended Commerce Schools through Junior year and graduated from Miami High School, Class of 1994. She moved to Pittsburg, KS, to attend Pittsburg State University. She married Matthew Ratteree on Nov. 13, 2010. She worked several years for Miller’s Professional Imaging. Later on, she attended WTI in Joplin, MO, where she obtained her Medical Billing Certificate. She worked for several different billing and coding companies, before retiring due to health issues. Sherrie enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family.

Sherrie was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Campbell, of Commerce, OK.

Sherrie is survived by her husband, Matt Ratteree, of the home; two children, Hannah and Jordan, of the home; step-daughter, Ashley Ratterree; mother, Artie Campbell, of Commerce, OK; sister-in-law, Pam Marshall; mother-in-law, Becky West, of Webb City, MO; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends of the tristate area.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Faith Lutheran, 1233 S. 220th St. Pittsburg, KS 66762. Burial of ashes will be held at a later date at Goss Cemetery in Mt. Vernon, MO.

Cremation arrangements are under the special care and direction of Parker Mortuary.
