Darlene Williams

Darlene Williams, 86, of Parsons, passed away at 7:31 a.m., Saturday morning, June 20, 2026, at her home in Parsons.

She was born on Nov. 9, 1939, in Los Angeles, California, to Thomas and Joy (Pingree) Cutshaw. She grew up in Mulberry, Kansas, and attended schools there, graduating from Mulberry High School in 1958.

Darlene and Cecil Williams were married on May 10, 1958, in Miami, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on June 1, 2000.

The family moved to Parsons in 1962, where she was a homemaker. Darlene later attended Labette Community College, where she received her associate’s degree in nursing in 1978. She worked at nursing homes as a registered nurse. She retired from the Parsons Presbyterian Manor as the Director of Nursing.

Darlene enjoyed cooking, baking, embroidery, and making beaded bracelets and necklaces.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Wyatt Bronson, Noah Bronson, and his wife, Erin, Chelsie Bronson Coy, and her fiancé, Chad Coy, Molly Williams, and April Williams, and 10 great-grandchildren; and several cousins and relatives. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her children, Cecil Williams, Duane Williams, and Laura Greninger.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 30, 2026, in the Nashville Cemetery near Nashville, Missouri with Alan Banzet officiating. Burial will follow the services. Friends are welcome to visit the Carson-Wall Funeral Home to view and sign the register. Memorials are suggested to the Proud Animal Lovers Shelter, and
