CRAWFORD COUNTY, Kan. — An Osage City woman suffered injuries following a two-vehicle collision Sunday night in Crawford County.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at around 8:55 p.m. on Sunday along Hwy. 69 at 600th Avenue,just north of Frontenac right at the turnoff for Chicken Annie’s and Chicken Mary’s.
The report stated that a 2020 Ford F-150 pickup was traveling south on Hwy. 69, turning east onto 600th Avenue in front of a 2023 Toyota Camry traveling north on Hwy. 69. The two vehicles then collided at the intersection.
The driver of the Ford, 28-year-old Travis W. Kahn of Frontenac, did not suffer any injuries.
The driver of the Toyota, 51-year-old Tanya R. Romero-Russell of Osage City, sustained minor injuries was taken to Mercy Hospital Pittsburg for treatment. The occupants of the Toyota, 25-year-old Arianna M. Romero-Russell and 25-year-old Jordon N. Ralston of Osage City, did not endure any injuries from the crash.
A 3-year-old occupant of the Toyota was also involved in the crash. The child was properly restrained in a child's safety seat and did not suffer any injuries.
Both the drivers and the occupants wore their safety restraints at the time of the crash, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
