Southeast Kansas League softball co-champion Pittsburg landed six players on the first and second teams when the league released its all-league representation following the completion of the 2026 season.
Pittsburg seniors Brette Pasteur and Breck Slaughter and sophomore Kenleigh Warford earned first team, while freshmen Brecken Campbell and Micah Gomez and sophomore Laney Trisler received second team for the 22-5 Purple Dragons.
Additionally, head coach Chanc Gomez won coach of the year honors in his second season at the helm of Dragon softball. Pittsburg qualified for the Class 5A state tournament both of his seasons.
The Dragons went 11-1 in SEK League play and shared the league title with Class 4A state champion Fort Scott as the teams split their home-and-home games over an eight-day period.
The Tigers were represented by Kyndal Aikin, Raylee Cowan and Alli Wheeler on the first team and Abbie Gorman and Aubrey Yarick on the second.
