Local historian receives prestigious award for preservation

A highlight of last weekend’s Mining History Association’s annual conference was Linda O’Nelio Knoll receiving the Rodman Paul Award for Outstanding Contributions to Mining History. Knoll is a trustee at Miners Hall Museum and has been instrumental in preserving the Page 618 dragline and other projects at the museum. She also presented on the Amazon Army during the conference.
