GIRARD, Kan. — The Crawford County Treasurer’s Office is reminding residents that the second half of their 2025 real estate and property taxes are due by Monday, May 11, 2026, to avoid penalties.
For convenience, taxpayers have several options to ensure their payments are on time.
The first is to personally drop off the payment at the treasurer’s office at the Crawford County Courthouse in Girard. The courthouse is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Payments can be mailed to the Crawford County Treasurer, P.O. Box 96, Girard, Kansas, 66743. All payments post-marked May 11 or earlier will be processed without penalty.
Citizens can also pay online at www.crawfordcountykansas.org.
Payments may also be dropped off at the Crawford County Judicial Center at 602 North Locust in Pittsburg at the satellite office between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, or left at the security desk until 5 p.m.
