Eda Wosel

Eda Wosel, 95, of Granbury, Texas formerly of Arma, Kansas, died at 1:30 a.m. June 9, 2026, at the Aviva Memory Care facility in Granbury, Texas.

Mrs. Wosel was born Dec. 21, 1930, in Arma, Kansas, the daughter of Luigi and Margaret Caputo. Eda was a retired customer service representative for Bank IV in Pittsburg. She was raised and lived in Arma all her life until recently moving to Texas to be closer to family. She graduated from Arma High School. She married Charles Wosel July 7, 1951, in Arma who preceded her in death in 2018. She was a member of the Arma American Legion Auxiliary for over 60 years, a member of the United Methodist Church and a member of the Red Hat society for many years. She enjoyed being active including walking, bus trips, playing games and dancing all while eating a Snickers bar and drinking a coke - her secret to a long life!

Survivors include daughter Gayleen Pigretti and her husband, Doug of Granbury, Texas; son, Brent Wosel and wife, Marcia of Bartlesville, Oklahoma: and son Byron Wosel and wife, Linda of Fulshear, Texas. She has 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luigi and Margaret, brother Joseph, "Hookie" and Husband Charles.

The funeral services will be Friday, June 19, 2026, at 10 a.m. at the Bedene Funeral Home in Arma, Kansas, with Reverend Mark Crist officiating. Burial will be in the Pittsburg Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Bedene Funeral Home on Thursday, June 18, 2026.
