Heather Arnett called up to pro softball team
Heather Arnett was called up Wednesday by the Florida Vibe of the Professional Softball League.

Heather Arnett is a professional.

Arnett, who completed her All-American softball career last month at Pittsburg State, was called up Wednesday to join the Florida Vibe of the Professional Softball League.

The Vibe, located in Bradenton, Fla., has won its first three games of the season. They open a four-game series against the Kansas City Diamonds on Wednesday night in Kansas City.

Arnett, who prepped at Frontenac, was already in Kansas City, playing for the new Professional Softball League Development Team. This was formed for softball players who are out of college eligibility to continue to play in a league that is watched daily by pro softball teams.
