FRONTENAC, Kan. — Wednesday’s council meeting in Frontenac was dominated by the city’s 2025 annual audit, conducted by Jerry Mitchell of Jerry D. Mitchell, CPA, LLC. The biggest change in the audit requirement concerned the new wastewater treatment plant, which was mandated by the state. Mitchell saw no compliance issues.
