Doris Jean Redd was born on Sept. 2, 1939, in Pittsburg, Kansas and passed away peacefully on Sept. 5, 2026, leaving behind a loving family and many cherished memories.

Doris married the love of her life, Harold G. Redd, on Sept. 6, 1957. They shared many wonderful memories together until his passing on Nov. 6, 2007.

She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Daniels, and son-in-law, Brad Daniels of Weir, KS; stepson, Gene Redd of Coburg, IA, grandchildren, Jennifer Wilson, of Pittsburg, KS, and Derek Daniels of Burden, KS; and great-grandchild, Gunner Daniels, Ryder Daniels, Baylee Daniels, and Hadley Wilson.

Doris will be lovingly remembered by her family for the life she shared with her family, the memories they made together, and the love she gave throughout the years. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

At Doris's request, there will be no public service. She will be cremated, with a private family burial to take place at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, KS.
