Murder mystery event set for February

PITTSBURG, Kan. — Memorial Auditorium will feature a murder mystery date night just in time for Valentine’s Day.  

JEST Murder Mystery Co., a company that plans and executes murder mystery events, will present “ZombieLove,” an interactive murder mystery dinner experience at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13 at Memorial Auditorium, 503 N. Pine Street in Pittsburg.  

The storyline of the murder mystery involves romance, secrets and zombies. Guests will engage in the story, uncover clues and work together to solve the mystery with professional performers and entertainers helping guide the story. Guests are encouraged to dress up and get into character. 

Attendees can choose to arrive at either arrive at 6:15 or 6:30 p.m. to receive their seat assignment and character badge. Act One of the event will begin at 7 p.m. with the buffet dinner starting at 7:45. Act Two will begin at 8:30 with the conclusion of the event ending at 9:15.  

Tickets are $50 per person, or $350 for a table of eight people.  

Tickets include a buffet dinner of vegetarian Lasagna with Marinara Sauce or chicken marsala, long grain and wild rice, glazed carrots and garlic mashed potatoes, with a house garden or Caesar salad. Attendees have their choice of strawberry shortcake or cheesecake with fruit topping. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.  

The deadline to purchase tickets is Jan. 30. Tickets are available at Memorial Auditorium Box Office or online at memorialauditorium.ludus.co
