I was interviewed on campus by a Lockheed recruiter who was looking for people to work in Sunnyvale, California, on the Navy’s underwater launched missile program. Hearing about any previous experience in the Navy Submarine, Boeing bombers, and Fairchild drones and parachutes, he made me an offer. I knew that Donna would be happy with this because her older sister lived about 30 miles from Sunnyvale.
