Wolfsburg fires sporting director Schindzielorz after poor start

WOLFSBURG, Germany (AP) — Wolfsburg parted with sporting director Sebastian Schindzielorz on Thursday, a few days after firing coach Paul Simonis. A former Wolves player, Schindzielorz had been the sporting director since February 2023. Just like Simonis last week, Schindzielorz paid the price for the team’s lackluster start to the season.
