VISAKHAPATNAM, India (AP) — South Africa opted to field against host India after captain Laura Wolvaardt won a rain-delayed toss Thursday at the Women’s Cricket World Cup. Afternoon showers and a wet outfield delayed the toss by an hour, with South Africa taking the conditions into account when choosing to bowl first. The chasing side could have an advantage owing to possible dew at the Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VCDA Stadium.
