More elevator riders in North Carolina soon won't see the state labor commissioner staring back at them. Commissioner Josh Dobson had followed longtime predecessor Berry’s practice of inscribing his photo onto elevator inspection certificates, but he said Monday, Oct. 30, 2023, that his photo is being eliminated to make way for a recently redesigned form. - photo by AP Photo/Allen G.
