The Pittsburg Purple Dragons welcomed St. Mary's Colgan, Frontenac and Fort Scott for their third-annual volleyball jamboree Thursday night at Pittsburg High School. Pittsburg lost 2-1 against Fort Scott (13-15,12-15, 15-4), won 2-1 against Frontenac (5-15, 15-8, 15-12) and won 3-0 against Colgan (15-14, 15-8, 15-13) in unofficial matches. "I felt the beginning was shaky, which I kind of anticipated," Pittsburg head coach Ashlen Riggs said.
