Brandon Perkins and Parker Schrater, the two new assistant coaches on Pittsburg State’s football staff, inherited a veteran and talented secondary. Between the cornerbacks and safeties, the Gorillas have five players who have earned all-MIAA honors during their career. Both new coaches were familiar with Pittsburg State before arriving, albeit by different methods.
