CHEROKEE, Kan. — Southeast boys basketball surged out to a 20-13 lead after one quarter and managed to hold on for a 43-37 win in Three Rivers League play Thursday night against Uniontown. The Lancers scored only single-digit points during each of the last three quarters after their hot start, as Uniontown took the air out of the ball and milked the 35-second shot clock almost every possession. Southeast built a double-digit lead in the second quarter at 27-15 and even led by as much as 43-30 in the fourth after Solomon Scott knocked down his second trifecta of the night.
