Pittsburg girls wrestling won the inaugural SEK Girls Wrestling Invitational on Friday with 154.5 points, beating out Fort Scott (148) and host Chanute (139.5). Kaitlyn Allen (130 pounds) and Kiana Berryman (140) both won titles, Savannah Shires (115), Alexis Burns (145) and Kylin Perry (155) each finished second and Ashley Batres Perez (235) finished third. Allen (11-1) pinned three of her four opponents, taking down for the count Girard's Maddie Miller in 2 minutes and 59 seconds, Chanute's Mylee Miller in 3:57 and Kansas City Washington's Reddi Johnson in 1:56.
