There’s nothing quite as exciting as finding a new author who writes books that are so good that you: a) can’t put them down; b) continuously recommend them to others; and c) anxiously await news that a new book will soon be published. Fortunately, that happened to me last year and her name is Clare Pooley. I had read a positive review of her latest book, “Iona Iverson’s Rules for Commuting,” in a professional journal and thought it would be a good addition to the library’s collection, then promptly forgot about it.
