With the 4th of July just around the corner and since this would be published after the 4th if I didn’t send it this week, I am writing my column this week on “America.” I think many often forget just what the real importance of this special date is on the calendar. It is more than just a holiday and fireworks. It is our country’s birthday and it gives us the opportunity to reflect on just what our country and our freedoms should mean to us.
