Donald Lee Mitchell, 95, of Girard and a lifelong resident of the area, died at 11:34 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2025, in Ascension Via Christi Village in Pittsburg. Don was born July 9, 1930, in Girard, a son of James and Goldie (Heskett) Mitchell. He grew up and attended schools in Girard and graduated from Girard High School in 1949.
