PITTSBURG, Kan. — Being a high school principal is one of the toughest jobs in education. A person must be flexible and steady — often finding themselves in vastly different situations from one minute to the next, they must be able to switch gears easily. Pittsburg High School Principal Kelynn Heardt has prepared her whole life for those challenges and meets them with a graceful determination.
