ALLEN COUNTY, Kan. — A Topeka woman has been arrested in Allen County in connection with the July 25 shooting death of Blake Pearson, 34, also of Topeka, which occurred in Chanute, the Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) announced Tuesday. At approximately 9 p.m. Monday, Nicole Fox, 41, of Topeka, was arrested near Iowa Road and 2600 Street in Allen County. Fox was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder connected to the killing of Pearson, who police found suffering from a gunshot wound, from which he later died, in an alley east of 1706 S. Highland in Chanute in the early morning hours of Monday, July 25.
