A native of Weir, Whitney attended USD 247 in Cherokee before attending Pittsburg State University’s Social Work Program. During her practicum, she began working at the Children's Advocacy Center (CAC) in Pittsburg where she started as a child and family advocate, and now, 10 years later, she is the Executive Director of the agency. She and her husband, Jeffrey, have two boys and two dogs at home.
