PITTSBURG, Kan. –– Monday night, the USD 250 School Board met with representatives Ken Olson and Derek Byron of Fleet Enterprise for a one-year review of the district’s leasing contract for fleet vehicles. The school board met with Olson a little more than a year ago to discuss transferring the district’s fleet of 33 vehicles over to a plan that would replace them at a faster, more economical rate through Enterprise. Through the Fleet Enterprise program, the district saves money on maintenance, fuel, and insurance costs.
