PITTSBURG, Kan. — The Pittsburg State University Art Department is kicking off the fall semester with a new art exhibition, “Unreal City,” by Diane Bronstein. Her mixed media pieces are currently displayed in the University Gallery at Porter Hall. Bronstein’s mixed media work features vintage black and white photographs, which she found at various estates or garage sales, embellished with embroidery thread and in some pieces, beads and semi-precious stones are incorporated.
