PITTSBURG, Kan. — United Women’s Empowerment (United WE), a non-profit organization based in Kansas City, has been traveling across the state conducting its Kansas Town Hall series to engage with community members and identify barriers impacting women in the workplace and business. On Wednesday, United WE held a Town Hall event at Pittsburg State University. Wendy Doyle, president and CEO of United WE, welcomed the approximately 100 women who attended the event held in the Governor’s Room at PSU’s Overman Student Center.
