PARSONS, Kan. — A suspect was recently arrested for aggravated assault and criminal threat, as well as a previously active warrant, following an incident last week, the Parsons Police Department announced Monday. Shortly before midnight on Jan. 31, PPD officers were called to the area of 1500 S. 25th St. for a report of a disturbance involving a firearm. Officers arrived and spoke with the reporting victim and other witnesses, and learned that an altercation had allegedly taken place between the reporting victim and Tyreece Demott Kendrick, 23, of Parsons, according to the PPD.
