PITTSBURG, Kan. — For the first time this semester, the Tilford Group hosted its “Lunch and Learn” program Thursday afternoon, welcoming Easterseals to discuss “how to support someone with autism.” The event served as a panel discussion and presentation during which representatives of Easterseals, a non-profit focused on connecting people with disabilities to resources, visited Axe Library to meet with students, faculty, and community members. “We have a day services program, we are not a day program, we are day services that we provide services to adults with disabilities,” said Tracy Taylor, Easterseals Midwest Director of Autism & Community Support Services. “Autism and many other disabilities.
