PITTSBURG, Kan. — Since 1933, the Friday Study Club has been meeting once and sometimes twice a month, and during their recent gathering, the members celebrated the club’s 90th anniversary with an afternoon tea party at the Crestwood Country Club. On the first Friday of every month, the Friday Study Club eats lunch at the country club and hosts a guest speaker. Club President Nanette Krumsick, who has been a part of the club for 20 years, said they have had featured guests ranging from the Pittsburg State University president to different choirs in the area.
