PITTSBURG, Kan. — Diapers are a basic need for families with young children, but they can be a big financial strain on young parents. One local group is working to help ease that burden for some southeast Kansas families. From now until Tuesday, Dec. 30, the Southeast Kansas Diaper Stock, partnered with Southeast Kansas Community Action Program’s Early Childhood Education Services, is holding its “Diaper Drive.” The local non-profit organization has assisted the community over multiple years, distributing more than 100,000 diapers in an eight-year period.
