PITTSBURG, Kan. — US Senators Jerry Moran (R-Kansas) and Roger Marshall (R-Kansas) recently announced the US Department of Transportation has awarded 23 grants for airport upgrades and repairs throughout the state of Kansas. Two of these grants, totaling $3.5 million, are for southeast Kansas airfields. “Local airports help bring economic opportunities and critical resources to communities across Kansas,” said Sen. Moran.
