Tammy Deierling, a fifth grade teacher at George Nettels Elementary School, is in her 26th year of teaching. As a now seasoned teacher, she reflects on her years of educating young minds. “I love working with fifth graders because of the depth of our conversations and preparing them for middle school, helping them become independent young adults,” she said.
