Growing up in Texas, Sarah’s family moved to Nevada, Missouri, where she went to high school. Her family is mainly in Barton County, so for her, southwest Missouri and Southeast Kansas have always felt like home. After high school, Sarah earned a doctor of pharmacy degree from UMKC School of Pharmacy and completed a post-graduate residency through the University of Kansas.
