PITTSBURG, Kan. — Approximately 21 to 24 percent of undergraduate students enrolled in COMM 207: Speech Communication at Pittsburg State University experience high levels of communication apprehension. Those who experience that type of anxiety and fear often struggle in areas such as participation and performance. Looking to tackle the barriers of communication apprehension, the PSU Communication Department is integrating “Ovation AR/VR” technology as a solution to build confidence, reduce anxiety/fear, and improve delivery.
