CHEROKEE COUNTY, Kan. — A Pittsburg woman suffered injuries following a single-vehicle accident Tuesday morning in Cherokee County. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, deputies responded to the accident at 7:20 a.m. 2.5 miles east of U.S. 69 at NE Scammon Road west of 95th Street. The report stated that a 2007 Chevy Cobalt was eastbound on NE Scammon Rd.
