PITTSBURG, Kan. — In their last week of high school, the eight Pittsburg High School seniors who have been involved in Pittsburg Launch met with city and school board leaders to showcase their projects that benefit the community. The Launch program was started at PHS in 2020 and is a hands-on, student-led class that focuses on developing real-world experiences through involvement with local businesses. During the past school year, Pittsburg Launch students have worked on four major projects that include social media platforms, food production, plastics manufacturing, and urban renewal.
