PITTSBURG, Kan. — During last Tuesday’s regular commission meeting, commissioners had questions and concerns about an agenda item entering into an agreement Heartland Business Systems for a cost of $1.1 million over five years. The commission removed the item from the agenda pending consultation with the city’s IT Director Jeff Blair. The issue at hand concerns the implementation of a replacement data center for disaster recovery and backup solutions as part of the rebuilding effort after the cyberattack two years ago.
