PITTSBURG, Kan. — Pittsburg High School conducted its annual performing arts scholarship signing event on Wednesday for 14 seniors who intend to continue their passions in music, theater, and debate at the collegiate level. Opening the event, USD 250 Activities Director Jeff Staley noted how in awe he continues to be when it comes to performances from the kids. “We’ve done this for several years now recognizing our performing arts, our fine arts, and the scholarships that they are signing and it’s a really neat event and one that I appreciate,” he said.
