Wednesday afternoon, the Pittsburg Area Young Professionals hosted their monthly “Lunch and Learn” program with TOAST co-owner Heather Horton, second from right, at the Pittsburg Area Chamber of Commerce’s conference room. During the program, Horton discussed the restaurant’s Spead the Loaf program, Pittsburg Bread Co.’s growth, and United States Department of Agriculture funding. The young professionals will have a busy weekend for their next event on Saturday, cleaning up the community in honor of Earth Day earlier this week.
