PARSONS, Kan. — Members of the Parsons Coin Club will hold a free event on Friday, September 14, 2024, at the Labette Bank, 2121 Main Street in Parsons, offering appraisals to the general public. Beginning at 3 p.m. and continuing until 4:30 p.m., members of the local club will assist individuals in identifying and evaluating their accumulations of old coins, currency, and related items. “Throughout this year the Parsons Coin Club has conducted free coin appraisals for members of the local community to learn about their old money,” said Dave Sorrick, long-time member of the local club.
