MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Kan. — An Oklahoma motorcyclist was killed in a crash in rural Montgomery County on Monday afternoon, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol. 77-year-old Claude E. Secrest of Ponca City, Oklahoma, was headed northbound on a 2011 Harley Davidson FLF motorcycle on County Road 1350, 7.8 miles north of U.S. 166, at about 5 p.m. Monday when he went off the roadway to the east, according to the KHP. The vehicle struck the north embankment of the dry creek bed, ejecting Secrest off the motorcycle.
