PITTSBURG, Kan. — Pawprints on the Heartland recently acquired a new part-time veterinarian, Dr. Kari Woofter. Woofter will perform surgeries on Thursdays and host a Wellness Clinic at the Pawprints building, 610 N. Joplin Street, in Pittsburg, the first Saturday of the month. She currently works at the Independence Animal Hospital in Independence and will work at Pawprints on her day off.
